Early Intervention Program

Our Early Intervention program (EI) offers evaluations and a full range of programs and services for infants and toddlers (birth-3 years old) with a diagnosed condition or developmental delay, as well as support services for families, at no cost to the family.

To be eligible for EI services, children must be under 3 years of age and have a confirmed disability or established developmental delay, as defined by the New York State, in one or more of the following areas of development: physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and/or adaptive.

Types of services, frequency, duration, location, and provider are determined by the county municipality for EI. Families have no out-of-pocket expenses for EI evaluations or services. All teachers and therapists are licensed and/or certified according to NYSDOH and NYSED regulations.
