AAC can be used to supplement or compensate for students who experience severe expressive communication
difficulties. This workshop will focus on information regarding AAC for parents whose child is not yet speaking
or might use minimal expressive language. It will cover general information on picture-based systems (low
tech), as well as speech generating devices (high tech).
